Before the tax research subsidy can be applied for at the tax office, an expert body checks whether the project complies with the research and development concept of the law. From now on, applications for certification can be submitted to this "certification office research allowance".

Mechanical engineering and start-ups are working together more and more frequently - and with success: three out of five start-up cooperations in mechanical engineering have been successful in the long term.
