VDMA Business Climate Survey China – First edition launched in June 2016

VDMA China in cooperation with VDMA Economy and Statistics have executed the first VDMA Business Climate Survey China addressed to VDMA members that operate in China. The survey was conducted in June 2016 and survey results have been shared with VDMA members.

Altogether 80 VDMA member companies in China have participated in this first questionnaire concerning their business situation and expectation for 2016.

In the survey following aspects have been focused:
-       Current business situation
-       Current utilization of production/service capacities
-       Expected turnover 2016
-       Expected number of employees 2016

These above mentioned survey topics were presented to all VDMA members in China.

However, member companies that participated in the analysis received additional information on:
-       Origin of expected turnover from customers located inside and outside of China
-       Impact of economic drivers consumption and investment on the mechanical engineering industry
-       Impact of economic drivers consumption and investment on the customer industries

This is the first Business Climate Survey only aiming at the German/European Mechanical Engineering community in China. The VDMA Business Climate Survey China is going to be executed twice per year. The data collected is treated confidentially and results are reported in aggregated from only. The invitations featuring the survey link are sent out via email to our VDMA members in China.

As a VDMA member in China, please participate in this survey and benefit from this unique evaluation of the business climate in China. The higher the participation rate, the more detailed information the survey results will be. Through the active participation a high degree of validity of the statistical figures is ensured and more specific results for various kinds of mechanical engineering products/services as well as customer industries are provided.
